This makes our cabins unsuitable for group party bookings, including hen and stag parties or all-male/all-female group bookings. However, we do realise not all group bookings equates rowdy guests, so please do get in touch to discuss specific group bookings or if you wish to book multiple cabins. Failure to notify us of group party bookings could result in your party being asked to leave.

Buckland Farm Log Cabins and its owners can not accept liability or responsibility for any loss of the personal property of guests. Please ensure you have appropriate insurance to cover all personal items.
Noise
The sound of bird song, the occasional moo of a cow or a baa of the sheep, or the distance rumble of a tractor are the typical noises you’ll hear and is probably why you’ve booked us. Therefore, we ask guests to be mindful of the surroundings and their neighbours when it comes to noise. And we ask guests to be particularly quiet after 10pm.
Dogs
Dogs are welcome in all of our cabins. We allow a maximum of two dogs per cabin at no additional cost. We are set among farmland with typical farm animals (sheep, cows, pheasants, cats – all things dogs are generally quite interested in), so it is important dogs are always kept on leads.
While we prefer dogs were kept off furniture, we recognise this is not always possible. If you think your dog/s will go onto furniture (sofas), please bring your own throws to protect the furniture. Dogs are only allowed on beds if you bring a full set of your own bedding, including pillows, duvets and sheets. If this is likely, please inform us as part of your booking.
Dogs must never be left alone in the cabins, even for the shortest of times. And dog damage must be reported and could be charged to you. Please keep the Buckland Farm Log Cabin site and the countryside clean by picking up after your dog. We have a bin specially labelled for doggy deposits.
Car parking
Parking is available for up to two cars per cabin in designated spaces. Cars parked in the car parking areas are left entirely at the owners’ risk. Any damage or loss is not the responsibly of Buckland Farm Log Cabins or its owners. If you intend to bring more than two cars, please inform us.
Waste and recycling
Recycling bins are provided for each cabin for glass, tins, cans, card, paper and plastic bottles. For food waste, please use the caddy provided. Bins are provided for general waste. Buckland Farm Log Cabins are on a private sewage system, this system will not tolerate anything other than toilet paper. Please do not flush any other items down the loo, including baby wipes, sanitary pads, cotton buds and condoms – please use the bins provided.
Disabled Access
Most of our accommodation has level access. However, only Snowdrop cabin has wheelchair access. Please contact us before booking to ensure the accommodation is right for you.
Travel cots and highchairs
Travel cots and highchairs are available upon request. You must provide your own bedding and it is your responsibility to ensure the health and safety of any child using the equipment and to make sure it is returned clean.
Keys
When you leave the cabins to explore the wonders of the west country, we strongly advise you to leave your cabins keys in the key safe to reduce the risk of losing them. Any lost keys will incur a £75 charge.
Additional guests/visitors
You must inform the owners of any additional guests that are not on the original booking. Failure to do so may incur a charge or mean the guests cannot stay.
Day-visitors are welcome, but please be considerate to your neighbours. Visitors with dogs are only permitted in the dog-friendly cabins and the total number of dogs cannot exceed two dogs per cabin. Car -parking is for paying guests, so visiting guests may be asked to park off-sight if space is unavailable. All day-visitors must leave by 10pm.
Self–catering
Please remember that the cabins are self-catering and the nearest shop is a 10 minute drive away, so bringing groceries and toiletries with you is recommended. We do accept supermarket deliveries, but please make sure you are here to take delivery.
Enjoy your stay
Our final, and most important rule, is to enjoy your stay – relax, take in the beautiful surroundings, forget the world and recharge your batteries! Thank you for booking with Buckland Farm Log Cabins.
