Today is the first day of Buckland Farm Log Cabins. We’ve successfully got our planning permission and so now all the hard work begins.
Our ambition is to create four log cabins on the former dairy farm. We want to share this wonderful setting, deep in the Somerset countryside – a designated area of outstanding natural beauty on the Blackdown Hills.
The location is our selling point, but also our potential first hurdle – would we get permission to build four cabins on the land our dairy cows used to graze on the lush meadow grass? Today we got our answer! A big, delightful YES.
Now the hard work begins…first job is getting on with ordering our four authentic Scandinavian cabins direct from Finland. We are so excited, but also slightly terrified!
