Lovely place to stay in all seasons, very relaxing and our dogs loved it too. If you're a lover of the Nordic wood look, you'll love these cabins. Large kitchen/Diner/living space, very large patio door and window with an large living room side window giving you that panoramic view. Come rain or shine you'll never get tired of the view. Lovely enclosed garden to let the kids or dogs run around safely, with a gate to lead you into a mddow with on lead walks.

“If you like to spoil yourself and get away from it all, then look no further!”

"What struck me the moment we arrived was the peace and quiet of the surroundings and the impressive way the cabins looked. The three nights we stayed, we felt totally spoilt.

The comfort levels of the cabins is superb. The best quality bed we have ever experienced on our many travels. A lush shower, a spacious living area and a kitchen with all the appliances and supplies you can think of."

“A get away from it all location”

"We stayed here at the beginning of July 2019. If you want a truly quiet, get away from it all location, then this is for you. Several towns are within an easy to travel distance, so you can have the best of both worlds. Sit outside and watch the sun go down or keep a look out for wildlife. If you are up early, there are some amazing sun rises to be seen."

A little piece of heaven

Beautiful scenery and very comfortable lodge. Bed is fantastic, I will miss it. Ate at the Candlelight Inn, which is about an hours walk along a footpath. Would recommend a drive to Seaton and Beer - just beautiful. Go swim in the crystal sea. Sublime!

Our cabin was spectacular!

A spectacular log cabin in Somerset's Blackdown Hills. We were visiting friends nearby and wanted to find a quiet spot to stay in the beautiful Blackdown Hills which we know quite well after many country walks there. We found Buckland Farm Logs Cabins in our search and they far surpassed our expectations! The views from our cabin were spectacular, and the cabin itself always cosy and warm. The cabin had all equipment that we could have wished for.

Relaxing break What a wonderful place, everything we had hoped for and more. Beautiful log cabin, great views, peace and quiet….idyllic! We had a wonderfully relaxing time and our dogs spent all day on the balcony watching the sheep and the swallows. Clean, well equipped and central for all the places we wanted to visit.

Beautiful First time here but definitely not the last. So peaceful. Being a proper 'townie' I wasn't sure about the peacefulness, I absolutely loved it. Log cabin and lovely garden overlooking fields with sheep, goats and cows. A walk at the bottom into a shaded wood. A bbq in the garden plus fully fitted kitchen. We stayed in Foxglove which is the bigger cabin. No light pollution at night so you can lie in bed and watch the stars. Lots to explore? The beach was a 20 minute drive away. In the welcome book there are recommendations for local pubs which were great. Useful phone numbers, bread, butter and a jar of honey from Buckland bees. Also on site is a handy little shop in case you don't fancy the drive into town.

Stunning and every need catered for. Stop the world and let me off here. The views and peaceful setting are amazing. It can only be comparable to the fully stocked cabin. All catering utensils are provided even the things you didn't think you needed but you did. A warm welcome to dogs, with a dog shower and fenced outside area for each cabin to keep them safe. We will be back

Peaceful relaxation in a beautiful well equipped log cabin. Excellent in every way. Clean , well equipped. Beautiful peaceful surroundings. No street lights for miles around, so the stars are perfectly visible. We watched the space station each night for hundred of miles. The only sounds were birds and the occasional light aircraft from Local airfield. If you want peace and relaxation, then this is the place to be. Take your dog with you as well. Many places of interest in easy distance , and lovely walks on the Blackdown Hills . We shall certainly return next year.
